The One Percent Project is an initiative to inspire Portland businesses and individuals to donate a portion of their profits (perhaps 1%) to vetted, local non-profits leading the fight to end homelessness. Our goal is to build a meaningful and durable base of funding for them so they can concentrate on the important work they are doing, knowing that their community supports and appreciates them.Current One Percent Project Grantees include . . .
Portland Homeless Family Solutions • Raphael House • New Avenues for Youth • Community Warehouse • Street Roots • p:ear • Native American Youth and Family Center • Urban League of Portland • Outside In
. . . with more to come. Our grantee list will be updated as we continue to meet with local organizations. The One Percent Project is partnered with the Oregon Community Foundation. All donations are eligible for charitable contribution receipts, and go directly through OCF to these local non-profits based on their need and their operating budgets.
Donations are accepted by credit card or check. Please make checks payable to “The Oregon Community Foundation,” and write “The One Percent Project” on the note/memo line.
